I finally finished my City Girl/Country Girl painting. This took so long for some reason! But I think it turned out well. People are having a hard time reading it though. I'm thinking about just separating it and making it into two different pictures so it makes more sense.

Wow, it's so nice to see it finished! I can't really comment on readablity since I've seen this piece pretty much from the start, but I do have to say I like your color choices, so in terms of that, good job Joni!!!
It looks great!! It's readable to me too, don't know if it's because I also saw the beginning sketches. I guess I can see where the confusion could be with the background. Would lightening the sky on the city side help at all? (since cities have "light pollution") Don't know if that'd help. But I like it just as it is :)
I love it and this is the first time I've seen it... stumbled accross your blog looking at IF pics. I think it works very well with the two parts together. There's a lot of depth and plenty going on to keep your eyes wandering around the image. Looks like good illustrative story telling to me :)
